Tiny Bubbles Early Learning Center of Excellence Inc. (506) 206-1944
We remain committed to bringing the highest quality of early childhood education and care to our children and their families. We regularly update our programming curriculum to align with the highest learning standards and are continually developing new programs to meet the needs of children and their families.
Tiny Bubble's focus is on a positive learning environment. We want to “catch the children being good”, and positively reinforce that through highly effective praise and encouragement. We encourage and facilitate our bubble's independence and autonomy.
As instructed and regulated by Education and Social Development, we follow the code of ethics set forth by the province of New Brunswick. “Child day care services must be planned to foster the inclusion of all children" which means:
Tiny Bubbles is a nut-free centre, and we also have other allergies within the centre. Upon registration, parents will be given a list of their current allergies. It will be managed in-house with great care.
Tiny Bubbles is a fully inclusive childcare facility. We provide wheelchair accessibility, and we welcome children with any type of special needs. Our staff have been chosen who possess special training and experience with special needs children.
Tiny Bubbles practices the New Emergent Curriculum Framework (http://www2.gnb.ca/content/gnb/biling/eecd-edpe.html) set out by the province of New Brunswick. The learning environment is play-based and child-initiated, yet guided by an educator by manipulating the learning environment by providing ample choice for children. We also adopt a positive learning environment where children are praised and encouraged to the utmost extent of their ability.
Tiny Bubbles is committed to providing children with a foundation of learning and developmental skills to assist them in becoming confident lifelong learners. Our programs support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children.
Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each child. The programs are developed through observations of a child's social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional, and self-concepts. By building on each child's strengths and abilities, we ensure that they succeed and therefore develop a healthy attitude toward learning. We currently offer a wide range of developmentally appropriate programs for children. We aim to provide a total learning environment (http://www2.gnb.ca/content/gnb/biling/eecd-edpe.html) where children are free to observe, question, experiment, and explore. Our programs incorporate play-based learning, structured learning, and free-form learning. These activities allow opportunities for children to work in a one-on-one situation with centre personnel or in small or large groups with peers to achieve step-by-step growth in all areas of their development.
At Tiny Bubbles, we promote non-bias and cultural understanding within our classrooms to enhance children's awareness of and respect for cultural differences that exist within our society.
Our programs are constantly reviewed and revised by the latest research in child development. We encourage parents' feedback on our programs and promote open and regular communication between parents and our committed staff. By working together, parents and centre staff can help each child develop to their full potential.
Our environment is set up to allow a child to explore their world by using all of his/her senses, experiencing how things work, and providing an opportunity to express his/her ideas and solve problems independently. This also encourages a child to develop new concepts and acquire critical thinking and reasoning skills.
Along with cognitive development, we provide opportunities for a child to achieve an awareness of his/her feelings and teach a child to express them appropriately in many ways. Group activities and supervised interaction with other children will encourage a child to learn respect for the space and property of others and develop skills in peaceful, effective conflict resolution.
Infants need to feel secure and be able to explore their environment through all of their senses. Toddlers are learning that they are individuals and practice their independence often. We encourage toddlers to explore their environment by making it safe and nurturing. Toddlers are learning through routine and practice of a set routine of life skills practice.
Preschool programs make learning fun for children who are preparing to enter a formal education system. Our educators focus on social interaction, basic reading skills, and learning through play. Our curriculum prepares young children for that all-important leap into kindergarten -- and beyond.
